RINK REPORT CARD: 2007-2008

Wedgewood

A-

15 Swan Avenue

416-392-0739

Strengths: Since this rink has no permits, it’s always accessible to the neighborhood. Good shinny hockey. Field house by rink.

Areas for improvement: This rink lost some points because washrooms were locked. That means that skaters from further away may have a problem. Field house looks orphaned. No enforcement of “pleasure skating only” times

Next steps: Open the washrooms every day. Have a (rec-staffed) weekly family-pleasure-skating event – canvas skaters for the best time. Open the field house for community use during this time
