RINK REPORT CARD: 2007-2008

Trinity

C+

Gore Vale south of Dundas St

416-392-0912

Strengths: This rink has an old tradition, with some loyal skaters. Itís located in a very popular park near an up-and-coming area.

Areas for improvement: The rink lost marks because of staffing, and because the rink house is too far away from the rink, and it has no visibility for parents. The rink seems to have become a bit of an orphan.

Next steps: This rink is closer to the Etobicoke minors than some of the other downtown rinks. Consider opening the summer washrooms so that skaters have the use of them, but staffing only when itís pleasure-skating. Have a weekly family skate event.
