Rennie

A-

South of Morningside Ave, (west of Runnymede), at the foot of Rennie Terrace, Toronto.

416-392-1103 or 416-392-0392

Strengths: Huge kids’ hockey program draws kids from all over the city. Biggest rink house in the city; many change rooms, scoreboard, good plant, good ice maintenance except for thickness.

Areas for improvement: The rink staff need to be more accessible. The observation room is very barren. This rink is so active, but should be more for the families of the hockey players.

Next steps: The staff’s information table should be in the big observation room, so that people can find them. There should be kids’ books, some toys, reliable snacks. Also more comfortable chairs for families. There should be weekly family skate events.
