This rink is hidden from the street -- it's on a laneway. It has low boards and a liner. The ice-making crew really know what they're doing, the ice is thick and smooth.

The rink is small and looked like it might be a bit bumpy -- but it probably gets lots of use at this much-loved neighbourhood park. No one was using the park at 9.45 pm. Here are two photos from last winter, sent by park friend and photographer Diane Smith:
