RINK REPORT CARD: 2007-2008

Ledbury Rink

A-

146 Ledbury St

416-395-7962

Strengths: Beautifully set up rink and changeroom (although changeroom is a bit small). Has its own zamboni. Ice well-maintained. Well-used and loved by the community. Lots of unsupervised time makes for excellent, flexible use

Areas for improvement: This rink lost points because staff should not stay down in basement office away from people – get involved, it’s safer too. For new users, signage could be better.

Next steps: Flyer the rink to neighboring schools. Have weekly family-skate events. This rink would be a good spot for a weekly campfire, to get strangers meeting their neighbours a bit more.
