There's nothing like outdoor skating

Rink change area: There is a changeroom and washrooms but they are never open. Skaters change outdoors. They can use the small portable bleachers at the side of the ice.
Staff: This is an unsupervised rink.
Maintenance: The rink is cleaned by a roving crew.
Free shinny-hockey and pleasure-skating hours:
Free Pleasure-skating: Public skating all the time (shared use).
Free Shinny hockey: (Shared use).

The rink was scheduled to be open on Dec.1, but opened today for the first time.
This rink is next to a school. At 3.35, the kids have already got their skates on, playing shinny.
