Rink diaries from earlier years:
We spoke to the administrator, who said they don't know when they can open the rink, since they feel it's too warm now. Maybe they don't have a cooling system after all, or maybe they don't want to spend the fuel money to run the system.
The rink is open.
It looks as though maybe the rink has been converted back to artificial turf. Or maybe they'll only run it during the holidays, since they're advertising Skating with Santa on Dec.24.
Still no information on line about when the rink might be opening.
We called to ask about rink opening dates. The person answering the phone sounded rushed and said she thought it would open sometime around mid December.
